The kind of marine service we would want ourselves.
That is why Eastern Bay Boat Works exists. Knowledgeable, dependable and straightforward, built on more than 20 years of hands-on experience in boat building, marine systems, electronics installation, rigging and service, and founded on the belief that doing the job right still matters.
Donnie Mull leads the technical side of the company, and that experience is where its standards come from, particularly on diagnostics: finding what is actually wrong with a boat rather than replacing parts until the symptom goes away. Eastern Bay now runs a team of technicians, and every one of them works to that same standard.
That background shows up in the details. How problems get approached, how the work gets done, and how each project gets finished.

I grew up in Easton, MD, where I developed a real appreciation for the Chesapeake Bay and the industries that support it.
Since 2015 I have been active in the Annapolis area, and today the business is based in Ocean City. Being part of this sportfishing community keeps me connected to the people and businesses that make their living on the water.
I got my start in boat building over 25 years ago, learning every part of a vessel from the inside out. That hands-on background still shapes how I approach the work, focused on practical solutions and getting the details right.
My approach is simple. Clear communication, dependable service, and doing the job right. I believe strong businesses are built on trust, local knowledge and long-term relationships.

How we work
Mobile first, with a shop behind it.
Mobile dockside service. Whenever possible we come directly to your boat for service and repairs, at the marina, the dock or your home, saving you the time and hassle of moving the boat.
Shop-based service when needed. For projects better handled indoors, there is a shop in Ocean City, which gives a controlled space for more involved repairs, installations and upgrades.
Serving Maryland and Delaware. Based in Ocean City, working with boat owners throughout the surrounding Maryland and Delaware coastal region.
