We completed a SeaStar hydraulic power assist steering upgrade on a center console to improve handling and reduce steering effort on long runs offshore.
The system works with the boat's existing hydraulic steering to give smoother, more responsive control at the helm, especially at higher speeds and in rougher water.
Power assist is especially useful on larger center consoles and higher horsepower setups, where steering effort becomes noticeable at speed or in a chop.

- SeaStar hydraulic power assist pump installation
- Integration with the existing hydraulic steering system
- Hydraulic hose routing and system connections
- Electrical wiring and power integration
- Steering system testing and final setup
The installation was completed with clean rigging and integration into the boat's existing steering configuration.
