A Jupiter 31 owner wanted to improve the boat's running attitude and handling with an automatic trim control system. After talking through the options, Zipwake was chosen, and we completed the installation and setup.
The owner wanted a system that would adjust the boat's running attitude automatically to improve handling, visibility and comfort, without constant trim corrections at the helm.
The work
This installation included:
- Installation of the Zipwake dynamic interceptors
- Installation of the Zipwake helm control panel
- Routing and securing the system wiring
- System programming and calibration
- Sea trial and operational verification
The finished installation gives automatic trim control while keeping a clean, factory quality appearance. The low profile interceptors sit neatly in the transom and the helm controller keeps manual adjustment simple when it is wanted.
